Too many online tutoring platforms exploit teachers, parents and students alike. JOROJack is here to change that.
In its place, we’ve built a teaching-first education movement – where every child can thrive in literacy, and every teacher feels trusted, supported and respected.
Here’s our biggest difference: we don’t hire tutors. We work with experienced teachers – those with at least five years of classroom experience, and more importantly, a deep love of teaching and learning.
Teaching is a craft, and we respect that.

All JOROJack teachers can opt to take part in Teach One to Reach One
This is our community-powered fund offering literacy lessons to children who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
Parents can opt in to contribute the cost of a lesson for a Reach One student. Some teachers also choose to contribute by donating money or volunteering one free lesson when they have space.
When the fund has enough to cover a full intervention, teachers can choose to take on Reach One students.
There’s no pressure to join in, and you’re definitely not expected to teach for free – JOROJack will pay your full rate from the fund. Reach One lessons are also treated exactly like regular sessions, with full planning and support.
